Tango

With the camera set up in a single location with multiple bursts, I created dozens of photo performance series’ which were comprised of hundreds of action shots each. These performances were designed to only be seen in photographic form, a medium that used movement to create new shapes, expressions born out of frozen time. In Tango, the struggle with something as strong and invisible as wind, along with a the unruliness of a plastic sheet, transforms the typical into the unexpected.
